Ace pace Jasprit Bumrah helped team India clinch the IND vs ENG 2nd Test played in Vizag. Jasprit Bumrah picked up three wickets in the second innings of the match and finished with nine scalps to his name in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test. This was also his second-best figure in a match.
Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin grabbed three scalps in the second innings and has taken his tally to 499 in Test cricket. The veteran spinner has to wait till the IND vs ENG 3rd Test to breach the 500 mark.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma also praised Jasprit Bumrah for his antics in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test. “He (Bumrah) is a champion player for us. He keeps delivering for us. When you look at the performance, we did well overall. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy in these conditions. So happy with the performance,” said Rohit. Bumrah was also adjudged player of the match for his performance in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test.
