T20 World Cup Warmup: Both Ireland and Papua New Guinea are coming into the fixture after participating in the recently concluded UAE Summer T20 Bash.  Ireland started off with a thumping 7 wickets win against the United Arab Emirates but ended up losing their next two matches against the same opponent by 7 wickets and 54 runs.

Papua New Guinea had a disappointing campaign in UAE Summer T20 Bash. They faced eight wickets defeats against Scotland and 14 runs defeat against Namibia in the tournament and will be hoping for some change in fortune.

Ireland is placed in Group A alongside Namibia, Netherlands, and Scotland while Papua New Guinea is placed in Group B with Bangladesh Scotland, and Oman.

The match will start at 03:30 PM IST.
