The tournament will kick off on October 17 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman and ahead of the group stage, the participating teams will play a few warm-ups matches to get acclimatized to playing conditions. India, too, will be playing two warmup matches against England and Australia ahead of the opening fixture against Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, South Africa, England, Australia, New Zealand, and West Indies are among the teams which have directly qualified for the group stage of the ICC T20 world cup. The top eight teams will be playing two warm-up matches each on October 18 and 20 with a total of four matches taking place each day. India will be playing against England and Australia in their warm-up matches on October 18 and 20 respectively.

The first warmup match between India and England will kick off at 7:30 PM IST while the second between India and Australia will begin at 3:30 PM IST

Where will India’s warm-up matches take place? Venue

India’s both warmup matches against England and Australia will be played at a single venue – Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
