While Dwayne Bravo had already confirmed the Australia match would be his last in West Indies colours, Chris Gayle had expressed his interest in playing the next year’s T20 World Cup as well. But considering he is already 42, one may not see him bat once again in West Indies colours. And what could be his last international innings, he made that memorable with two effortless sixes that have come to be synonymous with Chris Gayle, the Universe Boss.

Not often do you see a batsman celebrate his dismissal but Chris Gayle does. He is Universe Boss and after 14,306 runs in 452 matches, he has earned the right. Against Australia, he hammered Pat Cummins for a six huge and then was bowled out on the next ball. While he could not stay around longer on his last innings, he has done enough as the crowd and West Indies dugout celebrated his two mammoth sixes one last time.
