Suryakumar Yadav batting record as India’s T20I captain

Was giving the captaincy to Suryakumar Yadav a bad decision? While it benefited the Indian team, it hasn't been as favorable for the batter.

Suryakumar Yadav is India’s best batter in the T20I format, known for his powerful shots and ability to score runs in all directions. However, SKY has been struggling with poor form in recent matches and is not at his usual best. India would hope for their most reliable batter to regain form. Interestingly, the right-handed batter has been futile in scoring runs since being handed the captaincy.

Everyone anticipated that Hardik Pandya would be given the T20I captaincy, but Suryakumar Yadav’s name came as a surprise. Although he has an excellent captaincy record, his batting performance deteriorated under the pressure and responsibility.
