Earlier in the day, Melbourne Stars bowlers produced a brilliant bowling performance t bowl out Adelaide Strikers for 108 runs. Strikers pacer Luke Wood was hit for 20 runs by Matt Short in the very first over. However Stars made a comeback with couple of Strikers wickets in the powerplay .
Adam Hose built a small crucial partnership with Nielsen but the other Strikers’ batters were unable to chip in with enough contributions.
