Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are gearing up to face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a highly-contested IPL 2024 clash. The SRH vs CSK clash is set to take Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday, April 5.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a mixed start to their IPL 2024 campaign, securing one victory while suffering two defeats. Despite a record-breaking batting performance against the Mumbai Indians, SRH faced a setback against the Gujarat Titans, losing by seven wickets.

Overall, CSK appears to have a more balanced team, with all players contributing significantly. Their seam bowlers, Mustafizur, and Pathirana, have been particularly effective this season. However CSK will be without Mustafizur.
However, SRH has a decent record against CSK in home matches, winning two out of four encounters in Hyderabad. For SRH to pose a challenge, key batters such as Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Klaasen need to deliver. Additionally, SRH possesses reliable seam bowling options in Cummins, Bhuvneshwar, and Markande.
