SRH Predicted XI vs PBKS: No space for Nitish Kumar Reddy, Atharva Taide gets a look-in

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are languishing at the bottom of the IPL 2025 points table, and their batting has failed them big time.

One of the best teams in the tournament — PBKS take on one of the worst teams in IPL 2025 — SRH. While Hyderabad were excellent last year only because of their batting, they have been awful because of batting this season. Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Nitish Kumar Reddy.. all have hit a bad patch, that doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.

The team calls for radical changes, for better results. So InsideSport takes a look at SRH predicted playing XI for the encounter vs PBKS on Saturday.

Top Order Still Remains Same

Even though Abhishek Sharma has only scored 51 runs in 5 innings, Travis Head has scored 148, and Ishan Kishan has gotten 127, but somehow there is no real replacement for them in the top order. If they click, Sunrisers Hyderabad are bound to win, as happened in their first match, where they scored 286. So, don’t tinker with that combo.

Atharva Taide In, Nitish Kumar Reddy Out

If he is not bowling, then Nitish Kumar Reddy is not of much use to SRH. In five matches he has only scored 112 runs, at an average of 22, batting at No. 4. His strike-rate has been 119. So he should be immediately replaced by Atharva Taide. Last year with PBKS he had scored 247 runs in 9 matches, at a strike-rate of 147.

Promotion for Aniket Verma, Above Heinrich Klaasen

Aniket Verma showed in his first two matches of the season that he is a serious hitter. He should perhaps be batting above Heirich Klaasen, who has been kept quiet this year. While Aniket has scored 141 runs at an average of 28 and a strike-rate of 183, the Protean has been not so effective with a best of 34.
