Team India stalwarts Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara went full tilt during practice ahead of the WTC Final. The Men in Blue have undergone a comprehensive training routine at the Arundel Cricket Club.

On Thursday, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others were seen batting on dusty wickets. The Oval is expected to offer a bit more turn than the traditional English wickets. Thus the Indian stalwarts are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.

Kohli was often seen stepping the wicket to meet the pitch of the ball. The former India captain played some delightful extra cover drives and leg glances and looked in confident touch.

Rohit Sharma meanwhile worked on his backfoot game. Shubman Gill. KS Bharat, Axar Patel, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane also had a bat in the nets.

Should the Oval offer some turn, India could consider playing with both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. The Men in Blue have stuck with a 4-pace attack for overseas tests, but the conditions could force a change to their plans.
