Pitch Report: Lord’s, London

The surface at Lord’s has had limited use this early in the English summer. A drier spring and recent hot weather may bring spinners into play as the game progresses. Seamers will still get assistance early with the famous Lord’s slope, offering lateral movement.

Batting is expected to be challenging on Day 1 but could get easier from Day 2 if the sun stays out. Thunderstorms are forecasted late in the match window, especially on Day 4 or 5.
