India cricket team star Virat Kohli’s childhood coach has backed him to come out on top in ICC Champions Trophy. The former Indian skipper has looked rather out of touch in the recent past and has looked as a worry for the side ahead of the marquee event. India will be chasing their 2nd Champions Trophy title as they embark on the campaign that commences from February 20.
Kohli’s coach backs him to fire in Champions Trophy
Speaking to ANI, Kohli”s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma backed Virat to go all guns blazing in Champions Trophy. He claimed that just because some matches went bad, it did not mean that a player was out of touch. He backed Kohli to perform like a champion player like he always did.
“Just because some matches went bad, does not mean the player is out of touch. When you look at his (Virat) previous records, you will see what he did for the country. I believe he will be performing like a champion player that he always has been,” Rajkumar said.
