Suryakumar Yadav hammers 4th T20I ton in IND vs SA 3rd T20I, matches Rohit Sharma & Glenn Maxwell's unquie record with Most T20I tons

Fifty in the previous game, A century in the IND vs SA 3rd T20I. ‘Sheer Class’ is what defines Suryakumar Yadav. SKY has now matched Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell with 4 centuries to mark his place in Most T20I tons. SKY hammered 7 fours and 8 sixes to reach his three-digit score in just 55 balls.

After a rather slow start, SKY raced to reach his fifty in just 32 balls. Following which SKY unleashed his carnage as the SKY blitzkrieg hit Johannesburg. Batting at a strike rate of 179, SKY was unfortunately dismissed the very next ball after reaching his century.

SKY looked like a man possessed to amass a big score for the Men in Blue. Taking a leaf from South Africa’s page, it was SKY who claimed that he loved the aggressive approach by the hosts in the previous game. As a result, retuning the favour, SKY played a magnificent innings to reach his century and help India post a big total on the board.

Courtesy of SKY’s blitzkrieg and Yashasvi’s crucial fifty, India managed to post 201 runs on the board. Coming to SKY’s innings, he needed to play a sensible knock after Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma departed early. SKY and Jaiswal rotated strikes to keep the scoreboard ticking and then upped the ante when they approached their fifties.

It took SKY just 23 balls to rocket from his fifty to reach the three digit score. The World Number 1 T20I batter yet again showcases his class and goes into the history book to become the second Indian batter with 4 T20I tons.
