After reaching the 15-run mark in the IND vs SA 2nd T20I, Suryakumar Yadav equaled with Virat Kohli as quickest batter to complete 2000 runs in T20Is. Both batters achieved the milestone in 56 matches.

Speaking about the toss, South Africa won the toss and invited the visitors to have a bat first in Port Elizabeth. “Very happy to be here and happy to know there’s some cricket around. We were confused what to do, but now we are very happy to bat first. It’s an opportunity for everyone playing this game. World Cup is still 5-6 months away. Just enjoy yourself is the message to the team,” said skipper Suryakumar Yadav.
