The Indian cricketer can be seen sporting a new haircut in an Instagram picture on New Year’s Eve. Aalim Hakim a celebrity hair designer gave a brand-new haircut to Gill. Taking to his Insta, Hakim captioned the post: “And My Last Haircut Of The Year 2022 For Our Rockstar Shubman Gill.”

India vs SriLanka T20
While batting as the opener, Gill may have displayed excellent form, but he lacks T20I expertise. Till now, Gill has represented India in 15 ODIs and 13 Tests.
Punjabi rookie Gill made his ODI debut back in 2020, but 2022 was the year he really started to shine, scoring 638 runs at an incredible average of 70.88 in 12 matches.
He has been selected for T20 Team vs SL and will be eager to make his debut. India and Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three T20Is and three ODIs each during the Sri Lanka tour of India in 2023. The three Twenty20 International contests are set for January 3, 5, and 7.
With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli enjoying the New Year holidays, Hardik Pandya will be leading the Indian contingent against SriLanka to boost his captaincy records.
To note, the home team will be without some of their senior players including Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja. But the Men in Blue will look to get past against a meek-looking SriLanka side easily.
SuryaKumar Yadav will act as Hardik’s deputy in the T20 series.
