Shubman Gill's controversial Tweet lands him in trouble as ICC fines him for code of conduct breach during WTC Final

Shubman Gill has been fined 115% match fees after his controversial Tweet regarding Cameron Green’s catch during World Test Championship (WTC) Final loss. The India opener was found guilty in violation of rule 2.7, which deals with inappropriate comments made in public regarding an incident that occurred during an international match.

In the fourth innings of India’s steep run chase of 444, Gill was given out in a controversial manner after replays showed the ball touching the ground.
After watching replays three to four times, third umpire Richard Kettleborough ruled Gill out.
