Team India completed a thumping win in the IND vs AFG 1st T20I as Shivam Dube completed an excellent fifty with the bat to complete an easy win for the Indian side on Thursday. He was also adjudged player of the match for his antics with bot bat and the ball in Mohali.
Chasing 159 to win, Shubman Gill (23 off 12) played a few glorious strokes but failed to play a long innings. Tilak Varma (26 off 22) struggled in the initial phase but managed to add 44 runs for the 3rd wicket along with Shivam Dube. Once Varma departed in the 9th over, Jitesh Sharma (31 off 20) joined hands with Dube, adding another 40+ partnership.
