Seems toss just happened: KL Rahul stunned with 642-ball IND vs SA Cape Town Test

IND vs SA Cape Town Test lasted just 642 balls as India wrapped up SA tour with 1-1 series draw and KL Rahul found the funny side of it.

All it took was 642 deliveries to get a result and the IND vs SA Cape Town Test is over in a jiffy. India Cricket Team registered a 7-wicket victory to level series 1-1. But like many, KL Rahul has a bittersweet moment. While he was happy that India could breach the Cape Town fortress for the first time, he is stunned that the match is over in less than two days.

“It is a matter of great happiness that we have won for the first time in Cape Town. But no one knows yet because it seems as if the toss has just happened and the match is over,” KL Rahul said in a post match interview with Star Sports.

IND vs SA Cape Town Test became the shortest ever Test match ever in a 147-year history. It also broke a 92-year-old record when Australia thrashed also South Africa in 1932 in Melbourne.
