Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal know where the fun at; WATCH as duo meets Rohit Sharma

The MI vs RR game is set to live streamed on JioCinema from 7.30 PM

Rohit Sharma will be well under the spotlight as he returns to Wankhede Stadium on April 1 as not a captain of the Mumbai Indians in their first home game of IPL 2024 . The team, led by Hardik Pandya, has slumped to the bottom of the 10-team Indian Premier League points table after consecutive defeats. Their opponents, Rajasthan Royals, enter the match with two consecutive wins.

Rajasthan Royals have shared a touching video featuring Mumbai Indians batsman Rohit Sharma ahead of their clash. The video captures Sharma interacting with RR players and his fellow Team India mates during a practice session in Mumbai, including Sanju Samson, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Despite the leadership change, with Pandya taking over from five-time title-winning skipper Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians have had a disappointing start to their IPL campaign, losing their first two matches. A narrow defeat to Pandya’s former team, Gujarat Titans, was followed by a comprehensive loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high-scoring encounter.

Adding to their challenges is the absence of Suryakumar Yadav, sidelined due to two separate injuries. Despite Mumbai Indians holding a 4-1 head-to-head record in their last five meetings with Rajasthan Royals, the home side faces a tough task as Sanju Samson’s team has begun the IPL season in formidable form with two wins.
