This was a perfect chance for Sameer Rizvi to prove his worth and make a case for his selection in the playing XI. Since there are big hitters in the team and some specialised batters already present in the squad, the chances of him getting into the XI were thin. However, now his 106* runs knock, made problems for the coach and the captain.
Can Rizvi secure a spot in DC playing XI?
The new rules in IPL, like impact player, could help Rizvi to show his skills in IPL 2025. He isn’t just good at hitting fast bowlers during the final overs, he is also brilliant against spinners.
