Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is likely to be conferred the CK Nayudu award by the BCCI at the annual awards function, as per reports. The ceremony is set to take place in Mumbai on February 1. Former India coach Ravi Shastri was the last recipient of the award in 2024.

As per a Cricbuzz report, Sachin is most likely to be conferred an award at the annual function. However, the report states that it is not ascertained yet as to which award would the “Master Blaster” get.

Meanwhile, Deepti Sharma and Smriti Mandhana bagged the honours in 2019-20, 22-23 and 2020-21. 21-22 respectively. Former India head coach Ravi Shastri and ex-India keeper Farookh Engineer were awarded the Colonel CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement award.
