South Africa Playing XI: South Africa made changes aplenty for the series decider at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. The biggest one was Keshav Maharaj leading the side with Temba Bavuma still struggling with injury.
The South African captain was hit twice on the body during the 4th T20 in Rajkot and was forced to retire out from the contest. With less than 48 hours of rest between the two games, Bavuma has not been able to make a full recovery.
With Bavuma missing out, Reeza Hendricks has slotted in at the top of the order with Quinton de Kock. Hendricks previously played two games in the series in de Kock’s absence, and would once again be called upon to plug a hole in the side. Besides that, Tristan Stubbs and Kagiso Rabada have been included in place of Marco Jansen and Tabraiz Shamsi.

Despite their collapses in the last two games, the Proteas have retained their middle-order core. David Miller, Rassie van der Dussen and Heinrich Klassen provide the perfect base, with Dwaine Pretorius also emerging as a dangerous floater in the line-up.
Kagiso Rabada, who missed the last match, is making a comeback.
Following their collapses, the visitors have gone in with an extra batsman in the side, with Tristan Stubbs being selected. However, that subsequently means that Marco Jansen has been axed from the team.
