Chennai Super Kings (CSK) may have changed captains, but the fans’ treatment of their skipper remains the same. With Ruturaj Gaikwad taking over the leadership role from MS Dhoni, CSK fans have decided to back their ‘new’ captain as much as they did their ‘old’.
After losing the toss in the SRH vs CSK match, Pommie Mbangwa asked about the team combination for the match. However, the CSK fans in the stadium decided to welcome Ruturaj Gaikwad with such a loud cheer that he failed to hear the presenter’s question. The opener had to request Pommie to repeat his question, saying, “Sorry, I couldn’t hear you. Can you please repeat the question?“.

Chennai Super Kings have made three changes to their Playing XI. Mustafizur Rahman will miss the match owing to a VISA issue, while Matheesha Pathirana is out due to a niggle. Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theekshana, and Mukesh Chowdhary join in.
