Rajasthan Royals will enter the clash against RCB in Bengaluru without the services of their regular captain Sanju Samson. The Kerala keeper-batter has stayed back in Jaipur after picking up an injury earlier. Riyan Parag is set to return as the skipper.
RR have lost four consecutive games leading up to this contest. They will be hoping to hand RCB an upset, especially since Patidar and co. are yet to open their account in home games in IPL 2025.

Samson to miss RCB clash
RR will surely miss the services of Samson although he hasn’t been in great touch in this season. The keeper-batter has not traveled with the team to Bengaluru for the tie against RCB. Instead, he is recovering from his side injury in Jaipur.
Samson’s absence is good news for Vaibhav Suryavanshi as he is set to get one more game. The 14-year-old impressed on his IPL debut, scoring 34 runs off 20 deliveries, laced with three sixes and two fours. Jaiswal, too, has rediscovered his form after a dull start in the ongoing season. The openers will play a crucial role in what is expected to be a run-fest at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
Hetmyer concern
Hetmyer was one of RR’s highest-paid retentions ahead of IPL 2025. However, the Caribbean star has simply flopped so far. He has managed to score only 115 runs in 8 innings so far, failing to live up to his reputation as a destructive finisher.
