Rohit Sharma & Ravindra Jadeja play first wicketless session of the IND vs ENG Test series

India were 33/3 when Jadeja joined skipper Rohit in the middle to not only play the wicket-less session but also put up the first 100-run stand of the series.

Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have played the first wicket-less session of the entire India vs England Test series. With the first two matches lasting four days each, wickets were tumbling left and right. The trend continued in the IND vs ENG 3rd Test as well, as the India cricket team lost three wickets in the very first session.

That’s when Jadeja walked in to join skipper Rohit Sharma with India, 33/3. The duo survived the first session, scoring an additional 60 runs, and ended up being 93/3 at lunch. While India was out of danger starting the second session, it was not safe by any means.

This is when the duo took control. They played the entire second session without erring. Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja scored 92 runs in 27 overs in the session, having played the first wicket-less session and the first 100-run stand of the series.
