It is perhaps not a decision that might have come from Rohit, but a case where the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee might have moved on from the 39-year-old.

The report further states that the selection panel have spoken to Rohit, as well as Yashasvi Jaiswal regarding their decision last week, before bringing their plan in effect.
