1) 1st Batsman to score 5 centuries in single edition of ODI World Cup
During the 2019 World Cup, Rohit Sharma became the first batter to hit five centuries in a single edition. He finished the tournament with 647 runs from 9 matches.
2) Record for back to back centuries in Tests
Rohit Sharma is the third Indian cricketer to score back-to-back centuries in the first two tests. Only former India skippers Sourav Ganguly and Mohammad Azharuddin have achieved the feat in 1996 and 1984 respectively .
3) Record for most double centuries
Rohit Sharma is the only player to score three double centuries in ODI cricket. The Hitman scored his first double century was against Australia in Bangalore in the year 2009. The next two double centuries came against Sri Lanka . The first one came in November 2014, when he scored an unbeaten 264 runs at the Eden Garden, Kolkata. The third one being a 208 run innings in 2017 at Mohali.

The hitman has scored the most number of T20I centuries for an Indian batsman. The right handed opener has scored 4 centuries with Suryakumar Yadav right behind him with 3 centuries to his name.
