Rinku Singh gets engaged to SP MP Priya Saroj, couple pose for pics

Rinku Singh got engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj in an event in Lucknow that saw over 300 guests in attendance

India cricket team star Rinku Singh has got engaged with Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj on Sunday. The couple marked the start of their new chapter at a grand ceremony in a five-star hotel in Lucknow. The duo are set to tie the know on November 18 at the iconic Hotel Taj in Varanasi.

As per Times of India, a lot of members of the cricketing fraternity and political leaders were in attendance for engagement ceremony. The couple coordinated in pink outfits as they exchanged rings in the presence of over 300 guests. Prior to the event, reports state that Rinku and Priya visited the Chaudhera Wali Vichitra temple in Bulandshahr to seek blessings.

Who is Rinku Singh’s wife, Priya Saroj?

Priya Saroj became a Member of Parliament from Machhlishahr in 2024 on an SP’s ticket. Her father, Toofani Saroj, has served as a Samajwadi Party MLA and has previously been an MP from Saidpur and Machhlishahr. According to Amar Ujala, there have been talks about Rinku Singh possibly becoming a Deputy SP from the state government.

At 27, Rinku Singh has emerged as one of India’s promising cricket talents. Born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, he has showcased his powerful batting skills in the IPL while playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). His performances have earned him significant recognition, leading KKR to retain him for ₹13 crore in the 2025 season. Additionally, he was part of India’s T20 World Cup-winning squad, though in a reserve capacity, further highlighting his potential on the international stage.
