India Women Cricket team had a horrid outing with the bat as they recorded their third lowest T20 total against England Women on December 9 (Saturday). The record comes hours after the conclusion of WPL 2024 Auction. Meanwhile, the fans on the internet were not happy with Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. as some of them also lambasted the India Women Cricket team on the social media platforms.

Speaking about the match, England Women won the toss and opted to have a bowl first. India Women were lost opener Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana early and the rest of the Indian line-up also struggled to get going.
Batter Jemimah Rodrigues was the highest run-getter for India Women as she score 30 runs. However, she never looked in control during her innings.
“Good chance to be back in the team. With a bit of turn and pace, I was look to vary the pace and keep it tight. I was looking to get her out (Shafali) and come out driving and next ball I managed to skid it through. For me it is super important to back my best ball and with the conditions being spin favourable. it is all about trusting your stock ball and use the variations smartly,” said Charlie Dean during the mid-innings break.
