Virat Kohli video called Smriti Mandhana after RCB beat DC to lift the WPL 2024 trophy - the franchise's first-ever trophy win

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Smriti Mandhana was over the moon as the side lifted the WPL 2024 trophy. RCB beat DC by eight wickets to win the final. And what better way to celebrate it than talking to King Virat Kohli himself.

Smriti Mandhana spills beans on chat with Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli video called the side to congratulate them shortly after the win. In the post-match press conference, Mandhana reveals what Kohli told her.

I couldn’t hear what he was saying, it was too loud. He just gestured thumbs up and I did the same to him. I’ll be meeting him. He looked really happy. He had a bright smile. I remember him coming last year and had a pep talk with us. It really helped me personally as well as the whole team,” Smriti Mandhana says.
