Rohit and Virat Kohli will be playing together in a T20I match for the first time in over one year since India’s crushing loss to England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 when they meet Afghanistan in the second T20I at Indore on Sunday. India leads the series 1-0. Despite the plethora of young players popping up, the selectors have decided to give the old firm a go in the final T20I series before the T20 World Cup, with the IPL to come in between though.
Speaking about the IND vs AFG 2nd T20I, Rohit Sharma and Co. are just one win away from sealing the three-match series. The home side will be looking to have another good outing in Indore on Sunday. On the other hand, Afghanistan will have be at their level best and try to get their first ever T20 win over the mighty Men in Blue.
