Deja Vu for Virat – Virat had to be called early on to the crease as captain Faf du Plessis was dismissed on the second delivery of second over. While Marco Jansen was in top form, Virat failed to judge the length of the delivery and gave a simple gift of catch to second slip Aiden Markram on the third ball.
Back-to-back ducks – In RCB’s last game against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Virat was unlucky on Dushmantha Chameera’s ball as he departed for a duck. The nasty predicament does not make a good reading for the former skipper. In eight innings Virat has scored 119 runs, relatively low from his usually standards.

8th duck in IPL – The star batter has been struggling for form and his golden duck on Saturday (April 23) was his eighth in the history of IPL. There wasn’t too much gap in the seventh and eighth, while he hadn’t departed for a duck since 2017 before the LSG match. It was also Virat’s second duck against SRH, having previsously been dismissed without troubling the scorers against SRH in 2014 edition.
