With 152 runs to chase, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat gave RCB a steady start with 50-run stand. While Jaydev Unadkat removed Faf du Plessis, it didn’t seem to matter. Virat Kohli (48) and Anuj Rawat (66) stitched together an 80-run stand to move RCB close to victory.
In the end, Rawat was run-out and Kohli was controversially given out off a Dewald Brevis delivery, but Dinesh Karthik and Glenn Maxwell ensured RCB cruised to a 7-wicket victory to climb to the 3rd spot on Points table.
Earlier, MI were off to a good start with Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan bringing up a 50-run stand in the powerplay. But then disaster struck. Harshal Patel removed Rohit Sharma and it triggered a collapse. From 50/1, MI slipped to 62/5 and then 79/6 with Ishan Kishan, Kieron Pollard, Ramandeep Singh, and Dewald Brevis all failing to stay on.

But then Suryakumar Yadav happened to RCB. He took the attack to RCB pacers, smashing Mohd Siraj for 52 as Mumbai Indians posted 151/6, stitching a 72-run stand with Jaydev Unadkat for the seventh wicket.
