The incident occurred midway through the second innings after a fan entered the field of play and attempted to hug both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli before being taken away by the security officials.
The person in question came close to Rohit but was taken away by the officials with the Mumbai Indians captain giving him an ‘air hug’ as he was dragged off. Virat Kohli also signalled a fist bump at the fan’s direction while taking his guard at the crease. Watch the video here:
