LSG on top

Looks like RCB have given up already. Runs are not coming for them and the boundaries have dried up. Now another wicket. Stoinis removes Rawat and it’s 94/5.

The new pace-bowling menace

Another one for Mayank

Mayank Agarwal is after the Aussies. After sending Maxwell back, he’s cleaned up Cameron Green. RCB are 59/4 after 8 overs.

Mayank has a wicket

Maxwell comes, Maxwell goes. Mayank surprises the Aussie with his speed as the batsman skies one. RCB in trouble at 43/3.

Faf out

Mayank Yadav into the attack and LSG have another wicket. Skipper Faf is run out as he is caught napping on the crease. It’s 42/2.

Kohli’s gone

What have you done Kohli? Siddharth bowls a slower one and Kohli skies ne straight into the hands of Padikkal. He is out for 22, as RCB 40/1.

Kohli’s special

And Naveen comes into the attack, and Kohli greets him with a six over his head. RCB picking up pace now. Faf ends the over with a four. RCB 36/0 after 4 overs.

Spinners rock

For now, the RCB pair of Kohli and du Plessis is finding it difficult to score runs. The skipper gets a four somehow. Okay, make that two. RCB 25/0 after 3 overs.

Krunal now

From the other end, it’s Krunal now. Kohli into the act and gets a four. After 2 overs, RCB are 13/0.

Good start for LSG

Siddharth starts for Lucknow and it’s a slow start for RCB. Just three runs come from the over as it’s 3/0.

Second innings..

This looks like a slow wicket and it should be a tough chase for RCB here. All eyes on Kohli here.

Pooran with a strong finish

Siraj bowls three dots and then Pooran comes up with two back-to-back sixes. What an innings this has been. LSG end with 181/5 in 20 overs.

Pooran on the charge

Topley bowls two full-tosses and Pooran goes for two sixes. And make it three in the row. This is brilliant by the West Indian. 20 runs come off the over, it’s 168/5 in 19 overs.

Well within reach

For now, it looks like LSG won’t end with too many. Boundaries are hard to come by. And Faf takes a brilliant catch as Dayal picks a wicket. It’s 148/5 after 18 overs,

de Kock gone

RCB can breathe a sigh of relief. Topley removes de Kock for 81, as LSG are 143/4 in 17 overs.

de Kock going strong

If RCB can get De Kock here, they would be chasing a total under 180. But with four overs still to go, one doesn’t know where LSG will end. It’s 141/3 after 16 overs.

Dayal on fire

Yash Dayal comes up with a solid over as he gives away only three runs. Where could LSG end? It’s 132/3 in 15 overs.

LSG on the charge

The partnership between Stoinis and de Kock is over fifty in only 28 balls. And there you go, Maxwell has another wicket. It’s 129/3 in 13.5 overs.

Pacers struggling

de Kock and Stoinis slam sixes against Green and it’s clear, any pace on offer in this pitch, batsmen will make hay. Expensive over comes to an end, as LSG 121/2 after 13 overs.

Spinners going well

The spinners have been slowing down things for RCB. LSG are struggling to get a move on. But in the meantime, de Kock completes his fifty in 36 balls. It’s 102/2 in 12 overs.

RCB in control

Anything under 180 on this ground would be difficult for LSG to defend. And so far, it’s looking like, they’ll end up below that. It’s 89/2 after 10.4 overs.

Devdutt Padikkal’s lean patch continues

Padikkal has been sent back by Mohammed Siraj, making just 6 of 11 balls.

LSG giving away initiative

The last few overs have been quite slow for Lucknow. As another over comes to an end, LSG move to 62/1 after 8 overs.

Living dangerously

De Kock is going for the kill, and is giving a few chances here and there. He needs to be careful as Maxwell nearly pulled off a blinder. LSG 59/1 after 7 overs.

Maxi continues

This time, Rahul goes for a slog sweep, and he is nearly caught in the deep by Patidar. But the ball bounces from his hand for a six. But he gives it up, and is caught on the very next ball. He’s gone for 20. LSG 53/1.

RCB slowing things down

A few dots means that RCB has made a decent comeback. But then, they still haven’t been able to pick up a wicket. Rahul comes up with a six, and make it two. It’s 46/0 after 5 overs.

4th change

Now Glenn Maxwell comes into the attack. It has been a good start by the spinner. Rahul hasn’t got going so far. After 4 overs it’s 36/0.

Now Siraj

In the third over, there’s another change in the bowling. Siraj comes on. And de Kock pulls now, for a six. Excellent start by LSG here. Make it two in two. It’s 32/0 after 3 overs.

Dayal from the other end

And from the other end we have Yash Dayal. The bowler bowls one full and is driven for a four by De Kock. Another expensive over as LSG are 19/0 after 2 overs.

Topley starts well

The pitch is green in patches, and one doesn’t know how the pitch will behave. de Kock edges one for a four. Make that two more, as De Kock looks in full flow now. It’s 12/0 after 1 over.

And here we go..

Straight up, Reece Topley starts the bowling for RCB. This is a big change for the team here. Hope they get some desired results.

Faf says..

We are going to chase. The previous game we played on here first innings it was slower. Some places it is patchy and dry. It really important to find some answers. We have had some really good conversations. It would be good if you keep learning from the mistakes. There is a touch of moisture and let’s see how it goes. Topley comes in for Alzarri.
