Ravindra Jadeja: Ravindra Jadeja does not mince words and speaks from the heart, and this time the all-rounder has hit back at Kapil Dev. The World Cup-winning captain made a scathing attack on team India saying they have become arrogant after India shambolically lost the second ODI against West Indies. However, Jadeja feels there is no arrogance and stated each player is giving 100%.

“I don’t know when he said this. I don’t search for these things on social media. See, everyone has their own opinion. Ex-player have full right to share his opinion, but I don’t think there is not any arrogance in this team,” Jadeja told reporters.

During an interview with The Week, Kapil said, “Rohit Sharma & Co think they know everything and want to take advice from anyone. “Sometimes, when too much money comes, arrogance comes. These cricketers, they feel they know everything,” Kapil Dev said.

Jadeja, though gave a fitting response and said such comments usually come after we lose a match. “Everyone is enjoying their cricket, and everyone are hardworking. No one has taken anything for granted. They are giving their 100 percent.

“Such comments generally come when Indian team lost a match. This is a good bunch of boys, this is a good group. We are representing India and that is our main aim, there is no personal agenda,” he added.

Speaking about the ODI series India and West Indies have won one match each. While the visitors comprehensively beat Windies by five wickets, the hosts bounced back in style in Barbados, beating Rohit Sharma & Co by four wickets. The series is set for an exciting finish. Speaking about Jadeja, the all-rounder has played both matches and has picked up three wickets, and has scored 26 runs.
