Rain can play a massive spoilsport in the India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) 2nd T20I. Just a day prior to the game, a burst of showers interrupted team practices as Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum was spotted filled with water puddles. This could be bad news for both teams, especially India who will be keen to exact a big revenge on the Aussies after their humiliating World Cup final loss.

With chances of more rain and the outfield sporting water puddles, the India Cricket Team’s practice in the latter half of the days seems highly unlikely. This in turn can cause a big problem for the match which can be curtailed due to the downpour.

However, this is not the first time that rain has caused a big issue for the game. All the warmup matches that were set to take place in Trivandrum prior to the start of the ICC World Cup were washed away. One of the worst sufferers of this was the Indian Cricket Team who failed to play a single warmup ahead of the mega tournament.

Now that Team India is engaged in a new challenge, the same rain at the same venue is likely to cause a major headache. As per weather forecasts by  AccuWeather, there is a 25% chance of rain tomorrow which can be quite a disruption to the match.
