What happened to Dravid? Dravid had a health scare ahead of India vs SriLanka 2nd ODI match in Kolkata. Reports emerged that Rahul Dravid felt unwell at the team hotel.
He was treated immediately and medications were prescribed to him. Dravid celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday with the team.
With an aim to win the match today and seal the ODI series against SriLanka, the Men in Blue are raring to go at the opposition. As the team prepared to take the field, Dravid’s health, however, took a major dip. Doctors immediately attended him and it was revealed that the India head coach has suffered from a fluctuation in his blood pressure level.
After checking up with the doctor, Dravid was given a medicine – Telma, following which he felt better. Rahul Dravid then went on to reach the ground and make his way into the Indian team’s dressing room.
The Men in Blue meanwhile will play 3rd ODI in Thiruvanathapuram. The team will have a day off today with match scheduled for SUNDAY. India is leading 3 match series 2-0 and will now aim for a clean sweep vs SriLanka.
