Rahul Dravid and Co get much needed two-month break ahead of ICC T20 World Cup

IND vs ENG Test series over, Rahul Dravid and Co get much needed 2-month break to rest and prepare ahead of ICC T20 World Cup

The IND vs ENG Test series is over and now it is time for some much needed break. It might not be the case for the players of the Indian Cricket Team. But coaching stuff, especially head coach Rahul Dravid gets a two-month break ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup.

This will be extremely beneficial for Dravid and the support staff. The India vs England 5-match series has been extremely tiresome not only for the players but also for the backroom staff.

“Test cricket is hard, it is not easy. I want to thank and acknowledge the support staff. It has been a long season for all of us as we are now going on to our break. Thanks to everyone, the coaches, the backroom staff for all the efforts. They are a terrific bunch of professions and I love working with you,” Rahul Dravid said after the conclusion of the IND vs ENG Test series.

It is worth nothing that Rahul Dravid and Co get a much deserved 2 month break. This will be crucial for the staff to take rest and prepare their plans for the upcoming major tournament.

While the players will be busy in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024), Team India’s priority up next will in the ICC T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup will start just a week after the conclusion of the IPL.

Thus it is imperative that Dravid and Co get some much needed break ahead of the big tournament.
