Pakistan kept the required run-rate in touch before the rain gods showed mercy on the Men in Green side to help them win the match by 21 runs through DLS method. Meanwhile, the netizens flooded the social media platforms with funny memes as some people terming Pakistan’s win as ‘Qudrat ka Nizam’.

“When we came out to bat, we were confident about our chances. I told Fakhar (Zaman) to hang around for 15 overs. Fakhar and I stitched a solid partnership. Fakhar was literally batting on a different wicket. We just want to give our best. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do well in some games. Hopefully, we’ll carry the momentum to our next fixture,” said Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.

With this win, Pakistan have now climbed up to the fifth spot in the points table and their chances of qualifying for the semis remain intact. The Men in Green will now face the defending champs England in their final group stage match of the World Cup.
