PSL 2024: After broadcast outage, floodlight failure stops MS vs ISU match

The floodlight failure stopped play for 10 minutes, and players were forced to leave the field for a brief period of time.

Just two days after a broadcast outage stopped fans from enjoying the live action, a floodlight failure stopped play in the PSL 2024. With the Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United match happening at the Multan Cricket Stadium, an issue with one of the floodlight towers stopped play.

The technical failure forced players to leave the field, and the fifth match of the 2024 edition was stopped for a brief period of time. The incident happened when Islamabad United was batting at 104/4 in 14.1 overs. The play stopped at 8:46 PM IST and resumed after just nine minutes, as Agha Salman and Imad Wasim made their way to the middle.
