PSL 2023: Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has mocked wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal for his accent during LIVE TV programme. Akhtar, who was speaking to the host of a show on Pakistan’s ARY News, said, “I heard him speak, he was saying ‘sakreen’…it’s screen and not sakreen”. Kamran Akmal takes jibe at Shoaib Akhtar
Akhtar’s comments comes on the backdrop of Akmal’s recent comment on the former bowler for slamming Babar Azam’s communication skills. Speaking to a local TV channel, Akhtar had said, “I want to openly say this that Babar Azam should be the biggest brand of Pakistan, but why he hasn’t become the biggest brand in Pakistan? Because he can’t speak,”.
Karan while defending Babar said, “I think Shoaib was not getting enough time on screen, that’s why he has said such a thing to keep himself in the headlines. He is improving day by day as far as his speaking and media handling is concerned. In fact, the number of ads he is doing right now is no match to what Shoaib Akhtar does,”.

Shoaib Akhtar wants Babar Azam to big a brand
During the show Akhtar gave clarification on his comment on Babar Azam’s communication skills. Akhtar said that he wants Babar to become as big a brand as Indian superstar batsman, Virat Kohli. The 47-year-old said, “You have to note these things, my intention was not to belittle Babar… he is a brand face…I want him to look that way. Babar is as big a player as Virat Kohli, if you see Virat’s video…he speaks fluently”,
