Preity Zinta all smiles as Punjab Kings’ bowlers impress against Sunrisers Hyderabad

Punjab Kings’ co-owner Preity Zinta was seen in the stands in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. She seemed extremely pleased with her team’s performance, after the brilliant spell by the bowlers. Bowling of PBKS looked measly and this match proved to be the difference. Zinta has been present in all the games of Punjab Kings’ in the current season, cheering from the stands. 

Dressed in a white T-shirt with ‘Sadda Punjab’ printed on it, she clapped as the bowlers turned in with a good performance. In the previous match, the actress blew kisses towards the crowd from the Mullanpur stands after a nail-biting win over Delhi Capitals. 

Ever since her first appearance at the Eden Garden during the current IPL season, her emotions in the stands have been palpable, capturing raw reactions. The pictures of her reactions are all over social media, grabbing attention from viewers.

PBKS bowlers impress in initial stages vs SRH

Punjab bowlers impressed with tight and controlled bowling in the initial overs of the match. Arshdeep Singh, the pick of the bowlers, dismissed Travis Head, Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad. Arshdeep also dismissed Nitish Kumar when he started attacking in the finishing overs of the innings.

Sunrisers struggled against the Punjab pacers, unable to convert convincing starts into bigger scores. Punjab pacers bowled a tight pace and despite a few dropped catches on the field, Hyderabad scored 182 in their 20 overs.
