SRH will once again take the field without the services of regular captain Pat Cummins and are expected to make no changes to their playing XI vs DC

Sunrisers Hyderabad will most likely stick with the same playing XI for their game against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, as they chase their 4th win of the season. Ishan Kishan and co. are riding high on momentum, as they are on a two-match winning streak, having beaten RR by 57 runs and CSK by 10 runs. The one-time champions are all but certain to miss out on the services of regular skipper Pat Cummins in the contest.

Meanwhile, as it has been observed in the last two games, SRH seem to have found the perfect team combination. With the opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head finding their mojo again, SRH have very little to think about in terms of their batting order. When it comes to bowling, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain have fared pretty well, and hence there won’t be any thought to altering their line-up.

Predicted SRH playing XI vs DC

Pat Cummins, as per reports, joined the SRH side on April 17 before the clash against CSK after undergoing a final scan in Australia. The regular skipper has missed the first six games as he was recovering from a lumbar stress injury. However, as reports stated earlier, he is only set to be available by April 25. This means SRH can continue to stick with their winning combination in the game against DC as they are once again playing a game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Hinge, who became the first pacer to take 3 wickets in his first over on debut in the history of the league, is expected to retain his spot in the playing XI undoubtedly. He will be partnering with Gopalganj’s Sakib Hussain, who has picked up 5 wickets in just the 2 IPL matches that he has played so far. Nitish Kumar Reddy will spearhead the pace department, while Ehsan Malinga will serve as second fiddle, given his success in the last two games.

SRH will have no second thoughts on altering their batting line-up. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have started to fire, with the explosive Indian opener leading the charge with a quickfire 74 and a 59-run knock against PBKS and CSK. The Australian is yet to register a fifty-plus score in IPL 2026 but has shown promising signs. Ishan Kishan is without doubt expected to continue at number 3 despite a duck against CSK, as he is in red-hot form.

Klaasen, Verma, Reddy, and Arora are the other middle-order batters. Meanwhile, SRH could be looking to use Liam Livingstone as an impact player.
