Players with most wickets in Ranji Trophy 2024-25

The quarterfinal matches of the Ranji Trophy are set to begin from February 8 onwards.

The Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season has been a thrilling one, especially for bowlers. Leading the pack is Harsh Dubey from Vidarbha, who has been a standout performer with an incredible 55 wickets in 14 innings. His ability to consistently take wickets has been a key factor in Vidarbha’s success this season.

Following closely behind Harsh Dubey is Auqib Nabi from Jammu & Kashmir, who has taken 38 wickets in 13 innings. Auqib’s accuracy and variations have troubled many batsmen this season. Another bowler who has made a significant impact is Mahesh Pithiya from Baroda, also with 38 wickets in 13 innings. His pace and swing have been crucial in Baroda’s campaign.

Nishunk Birla from Chandigarh has been another standout performer with 36 wickets in 12 innings. His ability to extract bounce and movement from the pitch has made him a formidable opponent for batsmen. Completing the top five is Manisankar Murasingh from Tripura, who has taken 35 wickets in 11 innings. His consistency and endurance have been key to Tripura’s performances.

Other notable bowlers this season include Tanay Thyagarajann from Hyderabad with 56 wickets in 7 matches, Sai Kishore from Tamil Nadu with 53 wickets in 9 matches, and Mohit Jangra from Rajasthan with 43 wickets in 6 matches. These bowlers have shown exceptional skill and determination, making the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season one to remember for fans of quality bowling.
