PCB announces no DRS for PAK vs BAN T20 series

It must be mentioned that Bangladesh is missing some key players due to various reasons, including their experienced left arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman.

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday announced that there will be no DRS available for the upcoming PAK vs. BAN T20 series starting from tomorrow onwards. To note, the PCB and broadcasters also didn’t have the review system for the second phase of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which was completed after the recent border conflict with India.

Not cost effective: PCB on no DRS for PAK vs BAN series

As per the NDTV, a reliable PCB source said due to the lack of interest in the series which begins Wednesday the Board had decided against having the DRS technology. “It is not cost effective for the board or broadcasters to have DRS technology in the series,” the source said.

It must be mentioned that Bangladesh is missing some key players due to various reasons, including their experienced left arm pacer Mustafizur Rehman who injured his thumb while playing in the IPL. As a result, Litton Das will be leading the visiting side in the upcoming PAK vs BAN T20 series.

Meanwhile, the Bangladeshi side reached Lahore after suffering an embarrassing 2-1 loss against UAE in Sharjah in a T20 series.
