Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan drew a parallel between Australian skipper Pat Cummins and the legendary Don Bradman after the pacer’s display of prowess in the 3rd PAK vs AUS Test. Cummins grabbed his third consecutive five-wicket haul as the hosts ran through the Pakistan batting line-up on Day 1 at the SCG.
Cummins will be second only to Don Bradman: Vaughan
Sharing his thoughts on Fox Cricket, Vaughan noted that he saw shades of Australian great Dennis Lillee in Cummins. The ex-England skipper claimed that although the current Australian skipper won’t surpass Don Bradman, he would be the country’s second best after the legend in time.
“I think I saw a bit of DK (Lillee) on screen but I think Pat Cummins in time, don’t think he is going to surpass Sir Don Bradman, but I think Cummins is going to end up being Australia’s greatest cricketer after Sir Don,” Vaughan said.
