Pakistan’s Schedule for Champions Trophy 2025

The Shaheens are all set to do well once again in the Champions Trophy, just like they did in the last edition. Take a look at Pakistan's schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025.

The Cornered Tigers are all set to defend their Champions Trophy title. Everyone is aware of their incredible comeback, going beyond imagination. They defeated the mighty Indian team, who were in full flow, but Sarfaraz Ahmed and company managed to restrict their momentum in the final, winning by 180 runs in the Champions Trophy 2017 final and clinching the trophy. This time, they are the hosts as well, which means added pressure to perform in front of the home crowd.

Mohammad Rizwan will lead Pakistan, and the team is set to play three group matches. If they perform well, they will progress to the knockouts. They are in Group A alongside India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Since this is a round-robin format, each team will face their opponents in their respective group. Pakistan, in Group A, will play one match each against India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Take a look at their schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025.

There is no question that all the games in this fixture are important, but the game against India, which traditionally comes as the highest-stakes encounter, stands out. It seems both countries’ cricket fans, or even those who aren’t cricket fans, badly want their team to win. Although in recent years, some friendships have emerged between the players and fans, which has helped break the boundaries between both countries’ supporters. Initially, it was expected that India would play their matches in Pakistan, but things changed. As expected, India and Pakistan will meet in Dubai, not in Pakistan. In fact, Rohit Sharma and his team are set to play all their games at the Dubai International Stadium. But surely, the eyes will be on this high-stakes clash.
