Fans in India won’t be able to watch the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 matches, as Fancode, the official streaming partner of the tournament, has suspended streaming any PSL matches this season. This has come in the aftermath of the terror attack that took place in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on Tuesday, April 22.
The heinous attack has shaken the country, with tensions being heightened between India and Pakistan now. Even the IPL 2025 match yesterday started on a sombre note, with players from both the Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad observing a one-minute silence and wearing black armbands throughout the match.
No PSL 2025 live stream in India
As an act to cut off the camaraderie between India and Pakistan, Fancode has taken a massive step by forfeiting the streaming of PSL 2025 matches in India. At the start of this month, Fancode and Sony Sports Network were made the official live streaming and broadcasting partners for PSL 2025. While Fancode has removed all the live streaming pages and the PSL 2025 schedule from its website, there hasn’t been an official word from Sony Sports Network.
Having said that, InsideSport has learnt that Sony Sports will not be showing live telecasts of PSL 2025 matches on Thursday and Friday for the next two days. The previous PSL game that was telecast in India was Match 13 in Multan, where Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans by 7 wickets.
