Oval Weather Report: Rain set to play spoilsport on day five of fifth Ashes Test
Australia have already retained the Urn owing to winning 2021 Ashes

Oval Weather Report: After rain robbed off two sessions of play on day four of the fifth Ashes Test at Oval, the fifth day will be even more important for England and Australia. While the hosts need 10 wickets to level the Ashes 2023, Australia just needs a draw to win the Ashes series in England since 2001. The visitors are off to a good start as they are placed 135 for zero in the run chase of 384. But all eyes will be on rain on the fifth day.

With Ashes set for an enthralling final day’s play, both teams and fans would be hoping the rain stays clear at the Oval. The pitch has remained sportive, and England & Australia would fancy themselves of a win. It also remains to be seen if Pat Cummins & Co would adopt Bazball or play with a measured approach. However, let us see what the weather has in store for the final day of the Ashes 2023 series.
