Former India star Anil Kumble heaped praises for Jasprit Bumrah. While spinners continue to dominate IND vs ENG Test, Bumrah has been the only pacer to extract wickets on the pitch. This prompted the former India head coach to claim that Bumrah has the ability to put batters in trouble no matter what the conditions be.
The slow and turning pitch in Hyderabad has favoured the spinners. But much like the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah has managed to scalp 2 crucial wickets to rattle England. The pacer first dispatched the set batter Ben Duckett and then scalped the deadly Joe Root.
“No matter what the conditions, he’ll be able to use his skills and put the batsmen in trouble. He was the only fast bowler who looked like he would take a wicket in every over. He has everything; he has a yorker, a slower ball, and a great bouncer,” Kumble told JioCinema during the Tea Break on Day 3.
India gave a decent lead of 190 runs for England to overcome. But Indian spinners yet again showcased their class. But Jasprit Bumrah continued to torment the English batters. Kumble went on to claim that Bumrah has huge arsenal filled with bouncers, yorkers and slow balls.
